Jason Stanly

Jason Stanly is an American actor and was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a kid growing up and never accepting boredom, Jason's restless nature called for many diverse interests and perhaps sometimes slightly mischievous adventures until he found success in the unique sport of Olympic weightlifting. As a former member of the USA Weightlifting National Team, he competed on the international stage at the 1989 Junior World Championships and Junior Pan American Championships where he represented Team USA very well. Jason also scored USA Weightlifting National Championships both individually in weight-class and numerous team titles over the years as a member of the renowned Gayle Hatch Weightlifting Team. His time in athletics and college at LSU transitioned to the financial world and he went on to pursue a career in the financial services industry which spanned over 27 years. With a flare to entertain, Jason's passion for acting from his days in high school and college was rekindled with the booming film industry in Louisiana. After a few of his corporate clients had featured him in their internet and website ads, he was noticed by some local casting companies. Jason then went on to become involved in feature films with featured background roles and has subsequently worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Interestingly, it was Jason's resemblance to Jason Statham along with his talent of impersonating the action star which led to Jason's first supporting role in a feature film. Jason is often sought out as a Statham impersonator and photo double while he continues to perform at live events and in indie films, web series and commercials.
