In high school he was honored with the prestigious Who's Who in Sports award four years in a row for wrestling. After graduating high school he attended Eastern Michigan University where he studied speech therapy and began influencing those around him. Realizing his potential to achieve more, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he developed his love for acting. Since moving to Atlanta, he has starred in The Love Letter, Daddy's Home and Mr. Right along with appearing in several notable films. In addition to the movie roles he has furthered his skills by learning the Meisner technique and attending classes taught by Tommy Ford, Mariska Phillips, Michael Cole, and his mentor Terri J.
