Alina Robert is an actress and Tv host born in Havana, Cuba; after emigrating to USA in 2008 she developed her professional career in her hometown Miami, Florida. Alina starred in the movie Make Love Great Again which can be seen on HBO. She participated in, the Carmel Film Festival where the film made its debut, at the New York Latino Film Festival, the Miami Film Festival and the Catalina Film Festival, that won the Jury Prize. She also has credits in the films El Justiciero 2 for Cinemax, with the Elizabeth in Mount Dora and several short films, highlighting Crisálidas directed by Academy Award nominee Adriana Barraza. Her experience on TV include the series, Mariposa de Barrio, Betty en New York, Quien es Quien, produced by Telemundo NBC, My Life is a Telenovela, broadcast on E! Entertainment and We Tv among others. However, Alina became a public figure during her participation in the TV Show Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014 on Univision. As well, she was a co-host for the longest aired Hispanic Saturday Night Live TV Show "Sábado Gigante" alongside Don Francisco. Alina has shown her passion for the theater by representing complex characters, highlighting her performance in the play, In the Time of the Butterflies, critically acclaimed and obtaining the title of Best Actress at the BroadwayWorld Washington DC Awards 2018.
