Christine Marrello

Christine earned her M.A. in Drama from San Francisco State University in 2006, graduating honors. She has acted in community theater since the 1980's in a variety of roles, both ingenues and character parts, learning and perfecting her craft through time and practice. In addition, she has taken workshop classes as well as acting classes in both theater and film. Christine has specialized in Musical Theater, and she has also acted in some accomplished classical roles as well as in straight theater. She has worked extensively in her Acting 3 classes broadening her range and acting styles. Also, Christine has performed in operas, and professional theater repertory. In the concert scene she has competed for the title of "Apollo Night" vocalist and she has been a finalist at the Bob Hope theater for her Jazz style rendition, and then winning for her R&B style. Christine is now focusing her career in the area of films, commercials, voice-overs, and television, and she would also love to be the front woman for a band, since music has always been a part of her life. Christine started singing when she was only ten years old, and she has taken formal voice training in the University, and with a renowned Professional Opera singer. She has studied voice for about ten years with four different voice teachers. Christine looks forward to her new career learning about the film industry, hoping she will fit into a few great character parts!
