Yasemin Isil was born in Turkey, Istanbul. At an early age, she developed a passion for movies. She attended the prestigious French High School "Notre Dame De Sion," which broadened her horizons. Upon her graduation, she got accepted by Bilgi University for a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was highly influenced by Charlie Chaplin, Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, and Francis Ford Coppola; that is why she decided to move to Los Angeles. At the end of the Conservatory program at the Lee Strasberg Film and TV Institute, she was able to realize her instincts better which helped her to write and direct her short film; "The Choice", "Black & White" and "The Sun and the Moon" which was influenced by a blind artist. She co-produced "The Hollywood Turkish Film Festival" at Paramount Studios to bond the film industries from Hollywood and Turkey. She is working for Emmy nominated producer Ken Atchity. She also works as a dubbing producer serves many studios like Netflix, Sony, and Lionsgate.
