Hip-Hop recording artist and writer Sacario is no stranger to the music world. Getting his first taste of success thanks to a recording contract with Elektra Records/WEA, he wrote "If I Could Go" for Angie Martinez, which debuted to much acclaim in 2001. The record won a Nielson BDS spin award for accumulating over 190,000 radio spins. His follow up, "Live Big (Car Keys)", was featured on the Transporter movie soundtrack. Since then, as both a writer and performer Sacario is awarded four RIAA Platinum and Gold plaques, and two CRIA and ARIA album awards for his Billboard-charting work. His contributions both as a writer and performer have sold over 7 million albums worldwide. A native New Yorker from the uptown neighborhoods of Harlem and Washington Heights, respectively, the rapper of Panamanian and Native American decent has toured extensively throughout the U.S. He has performed on the same bill as Beyonce, Nelly, Fat Joe and P. Diddy, and has been featured on a diverse array of T.V shows such as the Carson Daly Show, Soul Train, 106 & Park, Rap City, Canada's Much Music, Showtime at the Apollo and Good Morning New York among others. In a non-music related role, Sacario makes an appearance in his new documentary film 'The Owners', now in production. The Owners tells the true story of the rise and collapse of a $300 billion dollar music industry empire. In addition, he is featured in the upcoming documentary Nutcracker Inc. which has received positive articles in both the Daily News and New York Times newspapers. Sacario is the Founder of Quiet Ink Productions, his new film, music and multi-media company based in New York City. The company specializes in creating and developing original content primarily for film and television. Quiet Ink has 10 films and two television shows in production. His new mixtape is also in production and is schedule for release September 11, 2014. He continues to write music at a prolific pace, and as a performer he lately favors private and corporate functions for the likes of Heineken, Mercedes House, T-Mobile, Fila, Maserati and Rocawear through his 'Open Bar Boyz' event team.
