Jonny Mangue

African-American professional wrestler known for his work for a variety of promotions primarily in the Northeast. He was trained by wrestling legend Harley Race and by Magic. He wrestled for Afa Anoai's World Xtreme Wrestling in Pennsylvania, Beyond Wrestling (Massachusetts), Absolute Intense Wrestling (Ohio), World Wrestling Alliance (Massachusetts), Dragon Gate USA, IWA Deep South (Alabama), Jersey All Pro Wrestling, and WrestleJam (Connecticut). In 2012, he debuted for Wrestling Is Fun! under his new gimmick Jaka, a savage from the African country Chad. He won his first title by defeating assailANT (Nelson Ortiz) for the WIF! Banana Title (that is, a title represented by an actual banana) at "WIF! There Is Always Money in the Banana Stand" on April 28, 2013. He arrived in CHIKARA in 2014 as part of Sidney Bakabella's Wrecking Crew (with the Devastation Corporation [Max Smashmaster, Blaster McMassive and Flex Rumblecrunch] and Oleg the Usurper), who were part of the Flood, the amalgamation of heel groups out to destroy CHIKARA. After the Flood collapsed via Icarus (Ronald Grams) destroying Deucalion (Stephen King) with the Estonian Thunderfrog's Hammer of Peace at the end of the 2014 Season Finale iPPV "CHIKARA Tomorrow Never Dies," Jaka continued to compete as a member of the Wrecking Crew. After Crown and Court (Princess Kimberlee/Jervis Cottonbelly/Los Ice Creams [Ice Cream Jr. and El Hijo del Ice Cream]) defeated the Wrecking Crew (the Devastation Corporation and Jaka) in the finals of the Challenge of the Immortals tournament at the 2015 Season Finale "CHIKARA Top Banana," Jakob Hammermeier, leader of Die Bruderschaft des Kreuzes, could be seen leading Jaka to the back. Jaka would be reintroduced as the BDK's newest member (with Jakob and Pinkie Sanchez) at the start of the 2016 Season Premiere "CHIKARA Days of the Phoenix," January 30, 2016, where he defeated Amasis (Desean Pratt). Jaka left CHIKARA after defeating Eddie Kingston (Edward Moore) by disqualification at "CHIKARA Tightrope" on June 11. Continues to compete for Beyond Wrestling and many other promotions.
