Born December 24, 1975, in Brooklyn, New York. Ivan is the oldest of three siblings and was raised in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. Growing up, he developed a passion for art as well as a love for comic books. Becoming an avid comic book collector at a young age, his first dream in life was to become a comic book artist. However, as he grew older, his once desire to become a comic book artist dwindled. At the age of 16, he left New York to find what he wanted to do in his life. He spent a short time in New Jersey before moving to Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico, he was offered a job at an art school. There, he assisted staff in painting Murals on the school walls. Still unsettled about what he wanted, after a few months, he moved back to New York. In New York, he became interested in the film industry but, never took the initiative to pursue an acting career. Instead, he was offered a career in Law Enforcement, and moved to Pennsylvania where he became a Correctional Officer. His acting career began in 2010, when a friend overheard his long interest in acting. She introduced him to a Director and Producer, where he was placed in front of a camera for a screen test. Within a few days, he received a call back, and was cast thereafter in a short film called "Message on a Desk," in which he portrayed a College Professor. Later in 2010, he appeared in an industrial for NFL Films, portraying a Football Player from the Philadelphia Eagles. He also appeared in two feature films, "Cut to Black" and "My Friends," which are slated for release in 2013.
