Olivia Shiferaw

Olivia Shiferaw was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Despite her humble beginnings, Olivia developed an insatiable desire to pursue the arts at a young age. To her family and neighbors, she was known as the entertainer, always attracting, without intention, the spotlight. The very same spotlight that focuses it's light on those among us that are blessed with the gifts of pushing the boundaries of artistic expression for the benefit of mankind. Olivia, through a set of unfortunate events, found herself orphaned at the age of nine. Yet, through calamity and despair, she was granted a new beginning, in a land where opportunities awaited the industrious, despite their origin, race, color, or creed. Her adoption into the United States at the age of eleven allowed Olivia to further cultivate and nurture her artistic spirit and helped her find solace. She began to develop her craft as a local performer and won in various community plays, theater productions while passionately studying ballet until the age of eighteen. In 2006, she was awarded Deer Park, Washington Jr. Miss Princess and subsequently moved to Seattle following her high school graduation. In 2012, Olivia left Seattle Washington to move to Los Angeles California. Olivia studied a variety of acting techniques, Stanislavski's system, Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute Method, and Michael Chekhov. Currently Olivia is filming shows and movie projects. Today Olivia lives in Los Angeles California.
