Yinka Edward

Yinka Edward is an award-winning cinematographer. He shot the short animation, "A Love Story", which won the 2017 BAFTA Award for Best Short Animation. He also shot Nigeria's first Netflix original film, "Lionheart", as well as Nigeria's 2020 Oscar submission "The Milkmaid" for the Best International Feature Film Award. He worked on BBC's acclaimed series "Wetin Dey", and shot Namibia's first indigenous TV series "The Ties That Bind". He won the award for best cinematography at the 2010 AMAA. Yinka also shot the Tom Tykwer produced Kenyan/German feature movie "Something Necessary". He is a graduate of the National Film and Television School (NFTS).
