Lindsey Marks, often appearing under her alias of Lady Jack, is a Chicago-based performance artist, actor and filmmaker. She delights in many projects that demand red lipstick and a top hat and many things that do not. She is a nationally-recognized burlesque performer, appearing in things such as the New York and New Orleans Burlesque Festivals, Beggar's Carnivale St. Louis, as well as top Chicago nightclubs and shows. As a performance artist and dancer she has had the honor of performing in TEDx Midwest 2010 and 2011, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in A Soldier's Tale alongside John Lithgow, and was commissioned to create a solo performance art opener for the Evermore event featuring James Taylor. In 2011 she co-created and performed in the physical theater piece Weaver's Tales series with chamber music group 5th House Ensemble, and was recently commissioned to create an act to be premiered at the Glint in San Francisco. In the realm of making films she has the joy of working with a great collective of artists responsible for such absurdest gems as "Care Bears Back in Action" (Cheer Bear), "Heaven is Hell" (Faith), a dark comedy and action feature film coming 2012.
