Chris Hall

Chris Hall was born in Norwich Connecticut in 1989. As he was born into a military family, Chris moved from Connecticut to upstate New York, to Indiana, and then finally stopped moving once he came to Delaware. As a child, he was fascinated by movies, and had a huge interest in watching the Star Wars films and attempting to make a film projector to work with cellophane; the idea never worked. Throughout school, Chris rarely applied himself, which often reflected in his grades. Finally, in high school, two important changes happened: he began to apply himself, and began film work. Starting with animation, Chris worked for six years to master the art of animation, but rarely finished a project. Although many assumed that he would go to film school, or take media related courses, Chris went to the University of Delaware, and then Wesley College for history. While there, he continued to work on animated projects, with little success. After a period of self-destruction (he destroyed scripts, quit film making, and gave up his career), Chris gave up animation, and began making live action films. His first film would be 13 Steps (video 2012). He then moved on to make several unreleased short films. While working on the short film project, Chris looked back at his first film, and noticed the problems it had. He decided that he would take two other dark films, and rework 13 Steps to act as the introductory film for the Wasted Youth trilogy.
