Eva Saunders

Eva Saunders (former Merz) is an award-winning, German-American visual storyteller born in Giessen, Germany with more than 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Her Bachelor thesis film, "Moonlit Night" won her the first international award as Best Student Short at the California International Shorts Festival (Spring) 2012, which led to an opportunity for her to move overseas and study on a scholarship at the AFI Conservatory and UCLA Extension. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Photodesign from the University of Applied Sciences, Munich and UCLA Extension Certificates in Directing and Feature Film Writing. Based in Los Angeles and Munich, she has produced many award-winning films since and has many more projects in development for the future.
