Paul Desiderio Jr.

Paul grew up in East Haven, Connecticut. As a child, Paul wanted to perform in a rock band. He took both drum and guitar lessons as a child in elementary school. He loved performing whether it was a play in Grammar school or in the band in Jr. High. At the age of 18 he moved to Ft. Lauderdale Florida where he worked as a waiter for four years. While going to school to become a cosmetologist. While on vacation in NYC visiting his best friend Paul went to a performance of A Chorus Line. The musical and the City itself lit a fire inside of him. He went back to Florida to pack his bags and moved to the Big Apple. While taking his first acting Class at Sande Shurin Acting studio Paul worked as a waiter and also as a hairstylist at a Madison Avenue Salon. He learned very quickly that his Passion was in Acting and he knew that he would one day make a living doing what he LOVED. Due to an unfortunate circumstance he was forced to move back to New Haven after a Year in NYC. He knew in his heart that one Day he would return. For many years Paul worked as a Hair Stylist, he worked for a major airline, a major telecommunications company, and he was a Real Estate Broker and Property Manager. After 25 years Paul returns to New York City more ON FIRE than ever. He is currently coaching with Reno Venturi at The Actors Gym and seeking Agency Representation. Paul brings to the table a very wide range of life experience which enables him to be a good actor. Since his return to the Business in June 2009 he has been featured four times on NBC Mercy as well as appearances on Law and Order Criminal Intent, 30 Rock, and Ugly Betty. He just completed a Principal role in a biography about Bill Wilson and the History of AA and has also been cast in an upcoming TV commercial. Paul has devoted his life to his craft and to this business. Outside of Acting Paul is a property manager and real estate broker. He is also trained in Hospice care where he volunteers whenever possible. He is also an animal lover and he loves to spend time with his Rottweiler Judah.
