RJ Bell is the founder of Pregame - a two-time INC. 5000 company, as well as the largest American digital media organization covering Las Vegas news and odds. Pregame is the exclusive odds provider for The Associated Press. RJ was born in Shadyside, Ohio. Bell graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University, finishing first in his Finance class. RJ has earned more mainstream media attention than all his competitors combined - including four years hosting his daily radio show on ESPN Las Vegas, in addition to appearing regularly on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Stephen A. Smith's national radio show, and L.A.'s legendary Kevin & Bean Show. RJ was featured on HBO's Ballers in July 2017 - appearing in a multi-scene cameo as himself (performing with Dwayne Johnson, Travis Scott and Cris Carter). Mr. Bell's other major TV appearances include SportsCenter, Outside The Lines, First Take, CNN, CNBC, Fox Sports, Fox Business, CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News, and Nightline. Mr. Bell's major radio show appearances include Dan Patrick, Scott Van Pelt Show, Mike Florio, Paul Finebaum, Doug Gottlieb, ESPN's NFL Countdown to Kickoff, WFAN, Sirius, and NPR - in addition to regular segments on the national radio networks of ESPN, Fox, CBS, and NBC. Mr. Bell's content has been featured on Mike & Mike, Pardon the Interruption, Speak For Yourself, Jim Rome Show, Rick Riley's column, and Bill Simmons' podcasts. Mr. Bell has been quoted by the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal, Yahoo, Businessweek, Bloomberg, and Maxim. Bell was commissioned by USA Today to set odds on which Monopoly piece would be retired. Mr. Bell was profiled by the New York Times Magazine in a 2014 cover story. RJ has authored weekly columns for ESPN.com and Grantland, and was a solo presenter at the South by Southwest Festival. Called "America's Favorite Sports Betting Expert" by Deadspin, and the only sports bettor included on Forbes' list of "Gambling Gurus," Bell was a key contributor in Sports Illustrated's expose of the point shaving scandal at the University of San Diego and later went on to serve as an expert witness for the US District Court case surrounding the incident. RJ has resided in Las Vegas since 1998.
