Klaas van de Ketterij

Producer and director Klaas van DE Ketterij is born in the south of the Netherlands, Zeeland. He attend to Christelijke Hogeschool Ede to study TV and Radio Journalism, afterwards he began his own media company Origin Media Venture. With his passionate interest in history, the stories of normal people and the region where he lives, he has made some regional minded documentaries, mostly with a historical background. With De Franse Slag in Zeeland he told the remarkable story of French soldiers whom came to defend the Netherlands in may 1940, the beginning of the Second World War in Zeeland. A few hundred French soldiers died on Dutch battleground. Occasionally he makes some fictional short films.
