Scott Cummings

Scott Cummings is an American actor who grew up in St. Louis, MO, where he attended Brentwood Junior and Senior High School. The son of a Protestant minister and a clinical social worker, he tried many majors as an undergrad but his preoccupation with acting made majoring in Theater the inevitable choice. After receiving a Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts from the University of Southern Indiana, he was offered a full ride scholarship to pursue his MFA in Acting at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. While in southern Indiana he met Steve Hudgins and PJ Woodside, the Kentucky-based filmmakers behind the prolific, award-winning company Big Biting Pig Productions. Scott made his feature film debut in Hudgins' _"Spirit Stalkers (2012)" and then was cast as the flamboyant self-help guru Dr. Aaron Knight in Woodside's psychological thriller "Lucid (2013)" Most recently, he played the outlandish role of Patrick Stein, ex-husband of the female mad scientist _Frances Stein (2015)_qv.
