Height: 6'2 / Weight: 213 / DOB: October 27, 1989 / College: Alabama / Hometown: Mobile, AL Attended St. Paul's Episcopal High School (Mobile, Ala.), SuperPrep and Scout.com regarded Mark Barron as the eighth-best player in the state of Alabama, as he earned a five-star prospect ranking and was named First-team All-American by Scout. During his college career, Barron was one of four Alabama players to be selected in the first round of the 2012 Draft, tying a school record set in 2011. He recorded 237 career tackles to go with 12 interceptions, 22 passes defended, 13 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, seven quarterback pressures, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Barron was acquired by the St. Louis Rams via trade in exchange for undisclosed draft picks (10/29/14). He was originally selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 2012 draft (7th overall).
