Desi is an NYC-based comedian, actor, and writer who was born October 11, 1990. After years performing on Maude Night at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, she now writes and performs her own original characters on UCBT's Characters Welcome team, as well as weekly improvised full-length musicals Off-Broadway with Blank The Musical. She also does solo character shows and improv comedy shows with and without her indie team (Miles From Pete) all around the city. She has a BA in Drama from Davidson College, and extensive training in Commedia Dell'Arte - considered by many to be the fountainhead of improv/sketch comedy - from The Accademia Dell'Arte in Tuscany. She made her Off-Broadway debut in a musical adaptation of Molière's "Scapin" at Theatre Row.
