Born at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, TX, and raised in Richardson, TX. He was a student of KD Studios in Dallas, and attended Lake Highlands High School. After High School Charlie attended Richland Community College in Dallas, TX. There he worked for college's Radio/TV station and became the Radio Program Director and then Station Manager. At Richland he interviewed many famous sport icons, radio personalities, actors/actresses, and musicians. At Richland Charlie meet fellow writer Bryant Varnell, together they worked on media packages for the news department and on short films. After leaving Richalnd college Charlie moved to Arlington, TX and earned a bachelor degree in broadcasting at The University of Texas at Arlington. While at UTA Charlie worked for the school's news publication The Shorthorn as a sport writer and was assigned to cover the schools winning wheel chair basketball team. He later began working with UTA Radio having his own show and also working with other JD's on their show and LIVE school broadcasting's. Charlie also worked part-time with Red Bull energy drink on college promotions and events on and off the UTA campus. During college Charlie acted in the film "Snuff" which was written and directed by Bryant Varnell. He later went on to act in several other films directed by Bryant. Charlie directed his first short film "Apology" which played at the show your shorts at Texas Theater. in 2014 Charlie directed his 2nd short film for the 48hr Zombie Film Race called "A Terrifying Disturbance".
