Josh Butterworth

June 2018: Josh was awarded Best Screenplay for 'Help Kneaded' at the MSA (Manchester School of Art) Pause film festival at Home Cinema, Manchester on 7/6/18 (out of all the MSA graduate BA Hons Filmmaking films), and 'Help Kneaded' was screened to the public at the festival. While at university had seven professionally paid runner jobs for MOB, on music videos and commercials, and worked as the trainee camera assistant on the 2017 BT Christmas Hive commercial. He has had a Saturday job and worked every summer from age 14. In 2017 he went traveling in Asia for 5 weeks. He is now looking for industry work as well as working on more of his own interesting, emotive and creative pieces of film, and building his own team of dedicated filmmakers. His end goal is to work as a writer director. Josh was born in Leeds but brought up in Cambridge... he is a passionate football supporter.
