William j Barry

William j Barry was born on April 12, 1976 in Newton, New Jersey to parents Dennis and Carol Barry. He moved to Florida and then to Georgia at a young age. William attended Alleluia Community School in Augusta, GA and was very involved with music and theater at both his high school and the local college. He graduated in 1994, receiving the Excellence in Fine Arts Award from his high school. William moved to Athens, GA and focused on starting a music career for a number of years, then eventually enrolled in college. While working his way through school, he married his long-time girlfriend Amanda Tinney in December of 2006. He graduated from The University of Georgia in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. While at UGA he received the Presidential Scholar Award and was a member of Psi Chi, a psychology honor society. In 2010, a middle-grades dark fantasy novel William had written named 'Sebastian and the Afterlife' was signed by TWCS Publishing House and subsequently released in February of 2011. He followed that book with sequels that were published by the same company. In addition to acting, William enjoys writing both stories and songs.
