Jennifer Capone is a film and stage actress who grew up in the tiny town of Sweetwater, NJ. Even at a young age, Jennifer possessed a certain flair for drama. She began taking dance lessons at the age of 3. Her first experience with the stage, however, did not come until she was 5, when she performed in her first recital. She continued dancing into high school, where she participated in various school shows and had the opportunity to play quirky roles such as Willy Wonka and P.T. Barnum. It was not until college that Jennifer began to dabble in the world of acting, taking her very first "Acting for the Camera" class. Encouraged by her teacher she auditioned for her first independent film. A few years later, Jennifer decided to dive in and pursue a career in acting. Jennifer's first projects were mostly on the stage. Her theatre credits include "The Vagina Monologues," working at The Grand Theatre in NJ on classical projects such as "The Crucible" and "A Christmas Carol," and working with The Remix Theater Group of NJ, an acting/dance troupe that takes classic stories such as "Romeo and Juliet" and "Alice and Wonderland" and lends them a hip-hop twist. Jennifer has performed with this company several times and has traveled with them to various festivals on the East Coast, including the Global Fusion Festival in Philadelphia, PA. One of the group's biggest achievements was performing on Paula Abdul's "Live to Dance," a live dance competition in NY - a very exciting time for Jennifer! Jennifer has had the pleasure of working on various independent film projects, with excellent casts and directors. Two directors who have made a lasting impression on her are Kristine Knowlton of One Last Breath Productions and Al Mitchell of The South Jersey Theatre Ensemble Company. This particular group recently shot their very first film, "Don't Throw Me Away." Though she has done and will continue to do work in the theatre, Jennifer has found she has a special passion for film and the entire movie-making process. Her latest ongoing film project is Nick Ummarino's mini series, "Dead Awakening."
