Sammy Bates

Sammy Bates is the co-owner of Rotting Corpse Productions. He has shot, edited and directed a plethora of short films, commercials and music videos. He, along with his brother and fellow co owner Kenny, started Rotting Corpse Productions because of their passion for horror films in 2010. Sammy resides in Versailles, Kentucky, where he was born and raised. Sammy's creativity and handyman skills have proven useful thus far; constructing light stands, jib cranes, boom poles, props, and dimmer switches just to name a few. He is working towards an Associate's Degree in Accounting. He has had two poems published thus far, one in a magazine entitled "The Tide" and the other published by Poetry.com in a volume entitled Twilight Musings. Outside of starting his production company, Sammy has been in Management in various companies for over 10 years, proving his leadership skills. Some of his hobbies include: playing basketball, woodworking, running, collecting and traveling. His future plans are to produce new and exciting full length films and television shows with fresh new ideas, making Rotting Corpse Productions a major player in the film industry for years to come.
