During the late 80's, Dragon developed his love for acting and writing while attending film classes at UC Santa Barbara. In his early 20's, he was featured in several tv commercials, including an advertisement for 'California Raisins,' which depicted him break dancing to the hit song "Get On Your Feet" by Gloria Estefan. Dragon also acted in a TV spot alongside the late legendary Raiders NFL star defensive linesman Lyle Alzado along with having performed in a few made for TV movies which appeared on the USA Network. While pursuing his acting career, Dragon also pursued his undergraduate degree in Psychology, and received his master's degree from Claremont Graduate University. Determined to return to his love for acting and writing, in 2018 Greg began attending several acting courses in Hollywood while writing a comedy television series based, in part, on his own life experiences. In early 2020, he played a supporting role as a mysterious art dealer in the short film, 'The Painting' and at the same time, Greg is to featured in the upcoming independent film 'Never Alone,' in which he portrays a troubled schizophrenic in downtown Los Angeles. Dragon is an avid lover of motorcycles (he owns a 2020 BMW R1250RS), precision driving, performing stand-up comedy and magic, voice-over acting, singing, playing piano, tennis, dancing, water sports, yoga, boxing, martial arts, skiing, snowboarding, and horseback riding --- just to name a few. Dragon names Michael Douglas, Joe Pesci, and Clint Eastwood among the actors who have influenced him the most. He practices both method acting and the Meisner Technique and is a student of the acting practices of legendary acting teachers Larry Moss and Eric Morris.
