Nancy Castro was born in a small town in Colombia. As a child, she belonged to the town's dancing group and participated in school plays. At the age of 25 she moved to the United States where she completed her Teaching Certification and began work as a Spanish teacher. In July 2011 she quit her job and started pursuing her acting career.
