Marty Stalker

Marty is a Film and Television Director whose debut feature documentary 'Hostage To The Devil', which was supported by Screen Ireland and Northern Ireland Screen, was released on Netflix Worldwide in 2017. Marty's passion lies in both factual and narrative storytelling with direct influences from Neil Marshall, Shane Meadows and Danny Boyle. He was born and raised in Liverpool but has been based in Northern Ireland with his own family since 2008. Marty is a former Section Commander in the Royal Marines Commandos (R) and has worked on operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan. His previous TV, Film and Digital work has taken him across the UK, USA, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.
