Jamyl Dobson

Jamyl Dobson is an Audelco Award winning actor for Outstanding Ensemble Performance for his work in "One in Two" at The New Group. TV and film audiences may recognize him for his work on Gotham, The Path, and Wonder which has won over a dozen awards at various film festivals such as LA Outfest, The Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival, UrbanWorld, and Oxford Film Festival just to name a few. In addition, Mr. Dobson also has an extensive theater background having performed on Broadway, Off Broadway, regionally, and internationally. Dobson has made his Broadway debut in 2022 in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." Some of the theater companies Dobson has worked with include The New Group, New York Theatre Workshop, Lincoln Center, Studio Theatre, the Ma-Yi Theatre Co., The Culture Project, and Classical Theatre of Harlem among many others. He has also toured for 4 years internationally as a guest actor with the Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Dance Co.
