Lacey Dorn is an actor, filmmaker and artist, working in both cinema and fine art. While an undergraduate at Stanford, Dorn began making films by co-creating documentaries with James Franco. Narrative films she has directed, written, produced and acted in have screened at festivals internationally, including SXSW, Mill Valley and Cannes. Her starring roles in feature films include Christopher Coppola's "Torch" and John Buffalo Mailer & Charles Kopelson's "American Terrorist". On stage, she stars in Jay Scheib's ongoing live-film productions of "Persona" and "The Silence" by Ingmar Bergman, which have run to critical acclaim across the U.S.. Blending video art with cinema in her most recent project, The Pillar Method, she writes, directs and produces a dark comedy about the abuse of power in Hollywood, starring alongside Buck Henry, Olivia Hamilton and Waris Ahluwalia. Dorn's experiential performance/video works have been featured in solo and group shows, including at The Palais de Tokyo, The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Paul Kasmin Gallery and Mana Contemporary Museum. Her work has exhibited alongside artists including Yoko Ono, Dustin Yellin and Richard Prince.
