Aj Denton

At an early age Anthony J. Denton, II, showed an interest in the arts, illustrating small Looney/Disney type characters. He would often set up his toys in a movie-set style fashion, acting out the television shows and movies he watched. His parents encouraged his art and creativity, and to this day he continues to create original characters, some of which have been used for small businesses, school year books, comedy clubs, album covers and merchandising. He excelled in video production and art classes where he directed, filmed, edited videos and even created his own animated short film. He has worked with television crews and helped direct small commercials for local businesses in Minot, North Dakota. Anthony holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Kukiwon Taekwondo, a 5th Degree Black Belt Hapkido, a Black Sash Hwang-Kuem Yong Kung Fu, and also studied Kickboxing and Japanese Kabudo Weapons. He has also dabbled in Jujitsu, MMA, KunTao, Silat and Kali/Escrima Sticks. He has owned and operated Golden Dragon Martial Art Studio since 2000, teaching children and adults, including the elderly, police and military personnel and even the handicapped. He has choreographed demos for boxing match events, half-time sport games, public schools and community-based organizations. Anthony also competes in Karate/Taekwondo Tournaments and fought in one of the first full contact MMA fights in Winnipeg, Canada. In 2000 Anthony and his martial art partner started a heavy metal band, Dragfoot. With the age of digital technology, Anthony has promoted the band on the web and they have gained an underground following in the US and overseas. Dragfoot's music has aired on Clear Channel Radio, collage radio and was selected for Castle Production Paint Ball DVD. Bill Ward of Black Sabbath also aired their music on his talk radio show. Anthony and his band have produced three albums and have played many venues in the Midwest for the past 12 years. His stage performance is intense & highly energetic. Anthony has had the chance to share the stage with acts such as Death Angel, Misfits, MOD, Black Dahlia Murder, and much, much more. 2011 Anthony has currently joined forces with Lawslair Entertainment Group LLC as the Vice President, Creating, Producing & Writing Motion Pictures & TV Series. With all this, Anthony is a family man residing in North Dakota, and happily married with seven kids, it's a "Yours, Mine and Ours" scenario style, blended family.
