Terhi Tuulia Lintukangas is an alumna of the Actors Studio Drama School, New York City (MFA in Acting), she first studied theater arts in the Alternative and Puppet Theater program in DAMU;Theater Academy in Prague, Czech Republic and later got her BA-degree in Puppetry at the Turku Arts Academy, Finland. After creating Puppet Theater shows and teaching puppetry widely in Europe she went for further studies in acting by moving to New York and enrolling in the MFA-program at the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. Her thesis performance was in a comedy, as dramatic and gloomy "Samantha" in John Kolvenbach's "Fabuloso". She has worked in different projects in New York; at Private Theatre, Chinese Theatre Works and Scandinavian American Theater Company. She is a co-founder of the Finnish puppetry ensemble HOX Company and she strongly encourages international collaboration in both theater and film. She is a Fulbright scholar, The American-Scandinavian Foundation Fellow and American Association of University Women International Fellow.
