Daivee Chantel is a multi-talented producer, writer, director, and actress. She moved to the Bay Area, California in her late teens from her birth country, Liberia. Although she partook in school dramas, due to her outgoing personality, it was in the summer of 2005 that she fell in love with film and theater productions. She enrolled in the New York Film Academy acting intensive program in Burbank, CA in 2007 and honed in on her acting skills. She later on went to study Theater Arts at Laney College and transferred to University of California, San Diego where she graduated with a BA in Theater Arts in 2011. Expanding her creativity beyond the stage, Daivee mastered in Creative Writing and earned her Master of Arts in 2015. She has performed in numerous theatrical plays and starred on stages like the La Jolla Playhouse, African-American Shakespeare Theater and Fusion Theater, and toured the country performing at Shakespearean festivals. Her theatrical credits range from classical roles in Lysistrata and Macbeth to modern plays like August Wilson's Piano Lesson, Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Daivee later worked as a reoccurring extra on the NBC hit series "Trauma" which was film in San Francisco. In 2018, Daivee founded her own production company, Daivee Chantel Productions where she aims to create and produce inspirational stories that captures the essence and nuances of the human experience. Her productions; be it feature films, shorts or theater productions, are sure to evoke emotions and food for thought.
