Ellis Meng Meng is an LA based Chinese female actor and director. She was born and raised in mainland China, lived in 3 different countries and learned 4 languages. She graduated Hong Kong Baptist University and Loyola Marymount University, trained with various dance and acting coaches including Wolfgang Bodison and Chris Games in Los Angeles. In 2014, Ellis won her first Best Director award in short film division with her film Crépuscule starring Andrew Bering and Charles Fathy. Since then, she has sold her short films to ShortsTV, an achievement many aspiring filmmakers would admire. After her acting debut in short film Whisper of Butterflies, which got her nominated for Best Actress, she has starred in numerous short films, commercials, and has gone on network TV in US. With those and several theater experience under her belt, Ellis has gone on her new journey of acting in feature films. Ellis is still actively performing theaters and as a dancer in Los Angeles.
