Zulkifly Amirudin

Zulkifly Amirudin (born December 31, 1983) is a Malaysian animator, animation director, and voice actor. His recent work is Alif & Sofia (2019). Like any other kids, he develop love for the art in cartoon and animation since early age. It was 90s printed comic era, where creative minds of cartoonist convey their ideas into comic and magazines. During primary school, he and few friends develop few series of comic using school exercise book, photocopy it and sold it among friends. As a Multimedia Technology graduates, he show huge interest in cartoon, character design and animation. He join Inspidea as an internship student, and become Junior Animator right after internship duration, and involved in project such as Mustang Mama Football Fever (2006), Milly Molly (2007), Combo Ninos (2008), Boo & Me (2009), Mat Kacau (2009) and George & Alfred (2009). Afterwards, he got chance to lead and handle small team to work on Tripura (2011), Arjun & The Adventure of The Ice Lotus (2011), Johnny Bravo Goes To Bollywood (2011) and Scary Larry (2012). He left the studio at 2012, and set to create own animation studio, Kap Media and in the same time further study in Master of Arts, Visual Communication & New Media. Zulkifly rejoin Inspidea on 2014 and work on Season 2 Lolirock (2014). As an assistant animation supervisor, he supervise and checking for qualities for the project. He left the studio on 2016 to become lecturer in a public university, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Becoming animation lecturer, he tried his best to share knowledge, experiences and expertise in animation history, principles, creating animation, production pipeline, concept & character design and development and many more. On 2019, he join Blindspot Studios to directing animation of Alif & Sofia.
