Danina Moguel was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, to a Mexican father (diplomat) and a Serbian mother (Yugoslavian folkloric dancer). She lived and was educated in many countries including Mexico, United States, Jamaica, Serbia and Hungary. She speaks fluent Spanish, English, French and Serbian. She began her acting career at the age of four, filming numerous commercials for Mexican television. At the age of 19 she left on her own to study in California, where she graduated at California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts in 2008. She worked in several Mexican productions and is currently involved in European productions including her latest participation in the movie "Leeches", produced by Lazar Ristovski, and as the lead actress in Steve Hackett's music video "Behind The Smoke".
