Kyle 'Rendy' Lochner was born in 1991, in the city of Johannesburg, but shortly moved to Melbourne, Australia in 1995 after his farther died in 1994. Kyle studied at Elsternwick primary school till the age of 12. During primary school, Kyle took a great interest in acting after watching the first Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone. He knew this is what he wanted to do. That year he started acting at Helen O'Grady's drama academy and stayed there for 2 years only to move on to bigger and better things. In 2004, Kyle got his first taste for acting as he got to play an extra in Australian film 'One night the moon' Directed/produced by Kevin Lucas. After Primary school Kyle went off to St. Leonards College only to be told he wasn't "academic" enough. He quickly shot off to Brighton Secondary College where he stayed and completed his schooling. During the time at Brighton Secondary College, He was a lead in 2 plays, and supporting role in 1, and also was studying at The Australian film and television Academy, Elements of acting. In 2006 Kyle was in Summer Heights High TV series as an extra on multiple occasions. Kyle was in a short film called 'Touch' where he played Lead role for a Swinburne film directed by George White. Kyle went back to The Australian film and television Academy in 2010 to study Advance Screening for Actors, and in 2012 he participated in Jeremy Kewley's Acting essentials followed by a screen test with Jan Russ.
