Tammy Sanchez

Born in southern Illinois, Tammy has criss crossed the United States, making her home in cities and states as varied as Houston, Boston, South Florida, Las Vegas, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. Her life and job experiences have been equally as varied. She is now a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Always a lover of stories, she found herself a natural producer and director. She is known for bringing her womanhood and motherhood to filmmaking, resulting in warm, collaborative, and safe set experiences. When she isn't consciously parenting her radical young daughter, she is creating films with her partner and friends. Her personal ethos drives her to create work that amplifies underrepresented voices, and ensure those stories are truthfully represented. The music video she directed for Lafemmebear premiered on Billboard and her most recent feature as a producer World Premiered at SXSW in 2019.
