Ithaka Darin Pappas

Photographer, artist, filmmaker and musician, Ithaka Darin Pappas, was born in Southern California. He has traveled extensively, living and working in Japan, Greece, Portugal, Mexico and Brazil (where he spent ten years creating at his jungle studio, AkahtiLândia, in the State of São Paulo). In addition to making short films and videos, Ithaka has released eight albums of original spoken-word-and ambient hip hop music and his short-story series entitled, Fishdaddy Chronicles, has appeared in surfing magazines around the world. Furthermore, his abstract photographic art and body of sculpture work known as The Reincarnation of a Surfboard have been exhibited globally.
