Raabia Hussain

Raabia Hussain and she is profoundly Deaf. As an independent filmmaker, Raabia has worked on numerous mainstream documentaries and projects with an internationally well-known broadcaster, ITV. Her roles included directing, producing documentaries and she has worked on programmes including "Mission Employable". Raabia gained worldwide attention with her first short film created as part of BSL Zone titled "September 11th", which she made in 2012. Raabia travels to many different countries volunteering to work with communities to create the documentary, to create impact and make a change.
