Naiyah D. Scaife is a Minneapolis, Minnesota native who has been acting since the age of five. Her very first audience was her kindergarten classmates. They would rather watch her play house then listen to the teacher at story time. Her love for acting grew in the community theaters around the twin cities. She believes there is a healing that takes place in her with every character she meets. She recently portrayed Edina mother to a star football athlete in Paramount Pictures "Under The Stadium Lights"; which starred Milo Gibson and Laurence Fishburne. From her portrayal in the award winning short film "Atone", director Damion L. Smith said "sometimes you're lucky enough to find a major talent before they take flight". She also had the honor of being recognized by casting director Tracy "Twinkie" Byrd; as well as, actor Omari Hardwick by winning a monologue slam at the Hollywood Black Film Festival. She is working diligently to fulfill her purpose through her work. She hopes to inspire others to follow their hearts and meet their dreams.
