Diane Spencer is a UK comedian, actor and writer. She performs live stand-up in comedy clubs and festivals worldwide, for which she has received multiple 4/5 star reviews, nominations and awards. She has written/performed 7 hour long comedy specials, all of which are available on her YouTube channel. Her goal is to continue building her portfolio of comedy work on YouTube, but to expand that into making sitcoms and comedy films. Upon leaving university, Diane worked as a drama teacher in Sherborne, Dorset before emigrating to New Zealand where she was represented by Auckland Actors. She was Nominated Best Actress in the Auckland 48 Hr Film Festival for her appearance in a short film "Natures Baby" (director Luke Wheeler). Returning to the UK in 2010, Diane won Best Newcomer 2011 at the Chortle Award and has been continually touring and performing ever since. Her projects are: Galaxy Ball Team Earth (2017), a sitcom about dogs that play sport in space, and touring her new comedy special for 2018.
