Rahdy Elwan graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with degrees in Architecture and Fine Art. He worked as an architect in Corfu for 10 years, with projects featured in Condé Nast Traveler, Homes and Gardens, Ideal Home and Departures magazines. In 2009, Rahdy turned his attention to film completing an MA in Filmmaking at the London Film School. While at film school Rahdy wrote the screenplay for Brodsky Books which won two awards for best student film. Rahdy's 2013 short film Supersnackers took 2nd place in The Observer's monthly film competition and won a best screenplay award. His graduation film Undressed traveled to 17 festivals from New York to Delhi, winning awards for best actor, excellence in screenwriting and best director.
