Erin Aubrey was born Erin Marie Grzybowski in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on May 9th, to Judy (Krueger), a Canadian home-maker and private business owner, originally from Borden, Saskatchewan, and Mervin Grzybowski, a Chartered Accountant, originally from Hafford, Saskatchewan. She is of Polish and German descent, and is the youngest of 4 children. From a young age Erin was active in the arts: she acted and sang in numerous musicals and plays throughout elementary and high school, predominantly as the lead "evil" character due to the power of her voice. She privately studied both singing and piano from an early age as well, performing as both a pianist and singer in multiple capacities (as a soloist with orchestras, jazz bands, big bands, symphonies, opera companies etc.) She completed two Degrees in Music: a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Western Ontario, and a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance (Opera) from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, before she picked up and moved to New York City. While living in Park Slope, Brooklyn, Erin explored other avenues of performance, including acting and songwriting. With a penchant for comedy, she was encouraged by a good friend to take classes at Gotham City Improv and Upright Citizens Brigade, which she did, followed by more intensive study at the Actors Center in Manhattan. Fully committed to pursuing a career as an actress and singer/songwriter on her home turf, Erin relocated to the "Hollywood" of Canada: Vancouver, BC, which boasted a vibrant indie music scene, and a thriving film and television industry. Her first network credit was on the pilot episode of NBC's "Heartbeat". She's since appeared on The 100, Arrow, IZombie and several Lifetime and Hallmark films. Alongside her acting, Erin is a busy vocal/piano teacher/coach, playwright, screenwriter, composer/songwriter and recording artist, with a 6 song EP under her belt, and a music video for her single, "Boy" set to premier in the fall of 2017.
