Alex Kip was born on August 20, 1987. The all-American Midwestern grew up in Columbus, Ohio (home of the Buckeyes) but pursued a B.F.A. in musical theatre at the University of Michigan (home of the Wolverines). During his senior year of college, this budding Broadway star lost his singing voice to cancer with only a 15-30% chance of survival. Now in complete remission, with his voice restored, Alex continues to act and give many inspirational keynotes and spiritual direction. As an actor, he's appeared in films (Marvel), TV (NBC, Syfy, Comedy Central, Spike TV), indie features, and stages across the country. As a keynote speaker, he's inspired UnitedHealthcare, Abington Jefferson Health, University of Michigan, Wanderlust, UN Culture of Peace, and more. His creative work is featured in PBS, NPR, and NBC. He was named a "Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Hero," and his inspiring writing has appeared in Huffington Post, Addicted2Success, and Lifehack. As a former podcast host, his top-rated iTunes podcast, SoulFeed, has been downloaded over 1.5 million times in all U.S. States and 130+ countries while topping the charts in self-help and health.
