Birthday: April 23,1960 Being born and raised in Japan. In 2011, I moved from Tokyo to Amsterdam, with my wife and daughter. My acting career in the film industry began as one of the journalists in "Godzilla" (Japan, 1984). I then produced a blockbuster cartoon movie series "Chibi maruko chan".(Japan, 1990 and 1992). I took the legendary workshops by Issei Ogata & Yuzo Morita for 5 years, in Japan. By their request, I wrote various report of each workshop, published by their company. My European film debut as an actor is "Silent City" (Nederland, Luxemburg, België, 2012), in which I act a Japanese cook. As the protagonist (Hirofumi) of the Dutch film "Hirofumi's suitcase" (The Netherlands, 2018), being nominated for "Best Leading Actor" at the Rome Independent PRISMA film festival 2018 in Rome. "Hirofumi's suitcase" won the "Best Short Film" award at the 11th CinemAsia Film Festival 2018 in Amsterdam, and the "Best Foreign Short film" by American Filmatic Arts Awards 2018 in NYC. Also being officially selected by Cannes Film Festival 2018 in Cannes. By estimating the acting of "Hirofumi's suitcase", he has been receiving various opportunities of acting. I did voice-over for "Japanese audio guide" for Anne Frank's House in 2018 and Royal Delft 2019. In Japan, I have been doing many radio-commercials (e.g. Nisshin Cup-Noodle, Sankyo-Lulu 30th anniversary radio commercial etc.) My another profession is a music critic and an author of the award winning book about the Beatles'-visiting-Japan (Beatles Rainichi Gaku). Which means I can also supervise Japanese dialogue in script. For instance, for "Anne Frank House" and "Royal Delft", not only voice-over actor of the "Japanese audio guide", but I also checked /corrected the Japanese script.
