Malik K. Murray

Malik K. Murray grew up in Philadelphia, PA where at an early age, he was exposed to films, various genres of music, theater, and an amazing visual arts community. His parents (artists) encouraged him and his siblings to always find their creative voice in life. While attending several off-Broadway plays in New York and Philadelphia, his parents introduced him to literature and a well-known underground music scene that changed his life. While his older brother attended Creative And Performing Arts high school in Philadelphia as a visual artist. He began to develop his own voice for singing, writing poetry and photography. Although an exceptional athlete that played varsity basketball, NJTL for Philadelphia, and Tae Kwon Doe for Temple University, Malik's passion for the entertainment industry is what led him to relocate to Los Angeles, CA. Upon arriving in Los Angeles Malik got an internship with Lynda Obst Productions on Paramount Studios lot. This was his introduction to the industry. Immediately after his internship, he landed a position in the mailroom at CAA, one of the top talent agencies in the world. Malik learned the inner workings of the agency and was promoted to assist talent agent Peter Levine. One year later he was accepted into the Agent Trainee Program additionally assisting Dave Bugliari then Kevin Huvane (Partner). Working with a well-respected client list of actors, musicians, writers, directors, and producers. Upon leaving CAA Malik produced a short film, worked in development for Voltage Pictures and is currently working as a Talent Manager building his client list and business.
