Jon Burkett

Jon is the Crime Reporter for WTVR-TV in Richmond, Va. He's known as the Crime Insider as he reports on daily crimes in the Metro Richmond area as well as other cities and counties in Virginia. Jon has been the crime reporter for WTVR since January of 2001 and has been employed by CBS 6 since September 29th, 2000. Previously he was a Second Class Petty Officer and journalist in the United States Navy. He served most of his 5 year career in the military, abroad, in La Maddalena, Italy.
