To-Nya Sachika

To-Nya Sachika, Identical twin sister to To-Tam Sachika, is the younger of the pair. Known as The SACHIKA Twins, the sisters are Fashion Designers, Entrepreneurs & CEOs of the brand SACHIKA. Born in Paris, from Vietnamese parents, To-Tam & To-Nya grew up in Montreal, Canada, from a large family of 6 children where they both individually excelled in Arts. From a young age, the duo tandem knew they would be building, crafting and creating Art. To-Nya, the lefty and the Designer, graduated from the International Academy of Design at the top of her school with an associate degree in Fashion Design. Furthermore, To-Nya successfully completed an international business certification at Concordia University. To-Tam, the righty, also the business woman, graduated with top honors from University of Montreal with a degree in Communications & Journalism with a specification in Television and Entertainment. Eventually, the sisters decided to pack their bags and move to New York city to pursue their dreams of working for themselves and living off their passions. In 2009, because two head are better than one, To-Tam & To-Nya, Fashion's Yin & Yang, joined forces to create their fashion business: SACHIKA. Soon after, the brand exploded into the Fashion & Entertainment scene dressing prominent stars and public figures. Their unique approach to design, marketing, sense of style and bubbly personalities have helped them set apart as business women and designers. SACHIKA' s feminine, flirty fashion has been featured included but not limited in publications such as Italian VOGUE, Forbes, ELLE Magazine, The Fader, Arise Magazine, Teen Vogue, Daily News, NY Times, Businessweek, Fashion Week Daily, Style, Elle, Reuters, The LA Fashion Magazine, Regard Magazine, etc. SACHIKA was also featured on E! Entertainement, Fox News, Oxygen, BRAVO, Channel 11, TVOne, BET, Vh1, etc. The SACHIKA TWINS made appearances on E! Entertainment's hit TV Show" Ice Loves Coco" with their friends and customers Coco & Ice T. In September 2012, the SACHIKA twins appeared on Oxygen's newest Reality Series "Girfriend Confidential LA" with TV Star & Model Eva Marcille. SACHIKA encourages women to be independent, strong, and ambitious. "The Modern Woman is fierce, she's independent and she knows what she wants." says To-Tam. "Designing is like creating the perfect balance between the imaginary mind and the reality of life" says To-Nya. To-Tam & To-Nya are the embodiment of the Modern Women: between the two of them; all angles are covered: from sketching, creating, pattern making, grading, draping, cutting, sewing, fitting, selling, branding, marketing, pr & business. In 2014, the SACHIKA TWINS along with their twin brothers Viet & Nam opened their flagship store SACHIKA Boutique in the trendy Mile-End of Montreal, their hometown. Today, SACHIKA has earned a secure place amongst the stars as it proudly celebrates and embraces all body types. The brand is now known to fabricate beautiful dresses that complement the female body on a her career path. Now based in Los Angeles, To-Tam & To-Nya have expanded to costume design and wardrobe for film/TV sets: they can handle the creation of a wardrobe vision from A to Z ( concept to actual finished costumes). Acting has been something they have done in the past and they are open to explore that side of their artistry in the near future.
