Christen Norman

Christen was born in Charleston, South Carolina. Adopted as a newborn, Christen enjoyed her early years on Folly Beach, the "Edge of America". She showed an early aptitude for singing and began formal instruction at age ten. By age 12 she began studying acting for theater and gradually gravitated toward film. After taking weekly classes for several years, Christen attended two summer programs at the prestigious Young Actors Camp in Los Angeles, where she was cast in two feature films, one in a leading role. She has appeared in two of Charleston's Footlight Players productions and has had lead/principal roles in several local short films. She booked commercials for Dollar Tree and Myrtle Beach Convention Center & Visitor's Bureau (2014). Christen is also an avid tennis player and is ranked as a 3.0 by the USTA (2015). She plays regularly on two Charleston tennis teams. She was also Miss North Charleston Outstanding Teen 2014. Volunteer activities include work with the Lowcountry Susan G. Komen Foundation. She is home schooled and enjoys yoga, preparing organic foods, and many outdoor activities.
