Josh Gleason

Josh Gleason is a director and producer of documentary film and television. He co-directed The Disrupted, an observational feature about America's struggling middle class that premiered internationally at DOK.fest Munich, and had its North American premiere at MountainFilm. His short doc, True Believer, played at festivals around the country including the Ashland Film Festival and the Nantucket Film Festival-and streamed on The Atlantic. Josh worked closely with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. while directing for the PBS series, Finding Your Roots, and produced several PBS films, including episodes of the Emmy award-winning series, American Experience. He was also a producer on the Showtime docuseries, The Circus. Before becoming a filmmaker, Josh reported and produced radio stories for This American Life and NPR's flagship newsmagazines, All Things Considered and Morning Edition.
